A Healthy Pelvic Floor: MELT & Yoga

It makes so much sense to hydrate the connective tissue around the pelvic floor and use MELT as a preparation or practice for our further pelvic floor work. That's why Leah and Tina now offer this new workshop where we combine what we both do best.

The first 45 minutes of melt will concentrate on the areas of the body that are connected to the pelvic floor: the feet, hamstrings, inner thighs, gluteal muscles, hips and especially the SI joints. The workshop will start with a warm up that include reminders on activation and release of the pelvic muscles, and will continue with a yoga practice nourished by a better understanding of how to use the pelvic floor muscles. This experience also aims to be creative and fun and there will be time for questions. 

The pelvic floor is of the greatest importance to all of us in everyday life. A well-functioning pelvic floor supports the internal organs, is strong and able to both relax and let go. Through yoga and breathing work, we will work with alignment that supports a healthy and well-functioning base.
