A topic not commonly spoken of but that is of the utmost importance for every person’s daily routine, physical health, mental and emotional well being. Healthy pelvic floor muscles are required to support our inner organs by being strong and contractile, as well as being able to fully open, release and relax. In this workshop we will
introduce ways to bring awareness to the body, identify what the pelvic floor is, and feel that structure in relation to the rest of the body in stillness and motion and in close correlation with the breath. We will learn the importance of correct alignment to facilitate the healing of pelvic floor dysfunctions and will address the issues of pelvic pain, bladder control, and prolapse.
