THE PELVIC FLOOR Awareness, Strength & Healing

A topic not commonly spoken of but that is of the utmost importance for every person’s daily routine, physical health, mental and emotional well being. Healthy pelvic floor muscles are required to support our inner organs by being strong and contractile, as well as being able to fully open, release and relax. In this workshop we will

introduce ways to bring awareness to the body, identify what the pelvic floor is, and feel that structure in relation to the rest of the body in stillness and motion and in close correlation with the breath. We will learn the importance of correct alignment to facilitate the healing of pelvic floor dysfunctions and will address the issues of pelvic pain, bladder control, and prolapse.

This workshop will include the exploration of this beautiful text paired with heart opening postures and leading into deep backbends. Warm ups will include deep core work and learning of stabilization to support the safe practice of backbends, as well as Pranayama practices around the heart.

I'd love to catch up, hear how you are doing, answer questions and see everyones beautiful faces. The two hour window is meant to allow us avoiding becoming a "crowd". The doors and air-fans will be open and on, and if you prefer to drive-by and stay in your car while I come out to wave and blow kisses and sign a book from the distance, that is okay too.
